The Eclipses are Coming! August 28 and September 11, 2007

Eclipses mean changes, good and bad. Where they happen in your chart determines what part of your life they will affect. Eclipses bring significant events into our lives -- marriage, divorce, death, birth, career change, etc. Solar eclipses usually mean new beginnings, and lunar eclipses represent finishing things. They are the universe's way of cleaning house, and bringing us in line with life's energy. Even "bad" events bring us to better places. If an eclipse falls near your birthday, the following year will be eventful for you. Also, if it is near your birthday or your rising sign, watch out for health issues. Be sure to eat healthy, get enough rest, etc. Eclipses can be felt a few weeks prior to or up to 30 days past the actual event.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on August 28 will be a total eclipse and will be visible in the US, but not in Europe or Africa. The western coastal states of the US will be able to see the complete eclipse, but the rest of us will be able to view the eclipse as the moon sets. The eclipse will begin at 3:53 AM eastern time (12:53 AM pacific), and will end at 9:21 AM eastern time (6:21 AM pacific). The greatest part of the Eclipse will be visible at 6:37 AM eastern time (3:37 AM pacific). Mercury and Uranus will also be at an opposition on the same day. We may be feeling rather irritated to say the least, and some of us will be looking to our addictions for a crutch. If you can get past the irritation and maintain your sobriety, this could be an extremely spiritual Full Moon. This would be an excellent time to "Let go, and Let God." Our connections with our higher power on this day could be tremendous.

The Solar Eclipse in Virgo on September 11 will be a partial eclipse and will be visible from parts of South America, Antarctica and the South Atlantic, and the greatest part of the eclipse will occur at 8:31 AM eastern time. This eclipse will be at an opposition to Uranus and a square to Mars, and this could leaving us feeling tense, to say the least. There is a potential for hysterics, especially in females, and males could be losing their tempers. We may go extremes on this day, or we may experience some sudden outbursts. Those of us who can direct this energy into a positive outlet may find that we are ready for a new project, and we will be ready to look at all of the details. Any projects that seem different from the norm will probably succeed.

The Lunar Eclipse on August 28 will be at 5 degrees Virgo and Pisces. If you have any planets at between 3 and 7 degrees in Gemini or Sagittarius, this eclipse could be especially difficult for you. The Solar Eclipse on September 11 will be at 18 degrees Virgo. If you have any planets between 16 and 20 degrees Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius this eclipse may cause extra stress. Astrology Forecast for August 2007 - General Tendencies for All Sun Signs

Last month the planets were relatively quiet, and we didn't have any negative aspects the first half of the month. Well, August is going to make-up for July's passivity. We are going to be feeling some kind of major planetary influence just about every day this month. And, there will be a Lunar Eclipse on the August Full Moon. Get ready for some changes.

We should be feeling very confident and optimistic as the month begins with the Sun dancing with Jupiter. There could also be some financial rewards, so any kind of investing or gambling decisions should come out favorable. Mars and Mercury will begin holding hands on Thursday, August 3, and then on Friday the Moon moves to create a grand trine with Jupiter and the Sun. Then on Saturday the Moon moves to create a grand trine with Saturn and Pluto. Its going to be a fabulous weekend. We will be ready to slow down and enjoy life, and social events will go well. We will be feeling very optimistic and patient, and our willpower and stamina will be strong.

There may be a few travel problems on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, August 5 - 7, with Jupiter at direct station. Those of us with dominate Sagittarius in our charts may find these few days especially difficult, but afterward our lives will begin to show new progress. We may also find ourselves trying to rescue a lover or rescue our bank accounts on Tuesday through Thursday, August 7 - 9, as Venus and Mars come to a square as they cross the cusps into new signs.

There could be conflicts with friends, and some of us may overindulge in our addictions the weekend of August 11 as Mercury conjuncts and Neptune opposes the New Moon. There could be some major misunderstandings, and our egos will be fragile. There is also a potential for emotional abuse as Venus conjuncts Saturn. And, we may decide this is the last time, because Pluto will be trine to Venus and Saturn. Pluto may motivate us to let go of some of the garbage in our lives.

Things will turn around on Tuesday, August 14, and continue through Tuesday August 21. We should find our attitudes improving as Mercury, Venus, the Sun, and Saturn all move to a conjunction in Leo with Pluto still signing in harmony. We may feel a new discipline and patience within ourselves. We may also engage in some powerful conversations (or possibly seminars) that change our lives. It will also be a very potent time to connect with lost lovers, with Venus in retrograde.

Tuesday through Thursday, August 21 - 23, may bring extravagance to the forefront with Mars and Jupiter at an opposition. And Wednesday through Saturday, August 22 - 25, Venus and Neptune also move to an opposition making us impractical and vulnerable to deception. Also, Mercury is going to square Mars and Jupiter on Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25. This will make it difficult to communicate with others, and some of us will be jumping to conclusions. Postpone any life changing decisions (or incurring any major debts) until after Saturday, August 25, and try like hell to avoid arguments.

The Full Moon lunar eclipse in Pisces is on Tuesday morning, August 28, but we will probably start feeling the effects as early as Sunday. I get a lot of emails concerning Black Hat techniques and I usually tell the writers to stick with white hat methods of making money online. SEVEN SIGNS THAT YOU ARE BEING LIED TO

Would you know if someone was lying to you? Most of us like to think we would but every once in awhile we have to admit to ourselves that someone has pulled the wool over our eyes.

Psychological research suggests that liars no matter how good they are always give off subtle clues that they are not being truthful if you know what to look for. The list below will help you go some way to 'spotting a liar'.

1. EYE CONTACT. A common misconception is that a person who is lying is unable to maintain eye contact. Nonsense: people break eye contact all the time - our eyes are moving constantly. In fact a person who is lying is more likely to unnaturally hold eye contact with you for this very reason as he thinks if he breaks it you will know he is lying.

2. BLINKING. A person who is lying will blink a lot,as blinking seems to correlate to the amount of mental stress we are under. In a normal conversation where a person is attuned to you, he will blink at roughly the same rate as you, often at moments when you pause in your speech. Be wary of someone who is blinking frantically as they speak with you.

3. SHOULDER MOVEMENTS. A person who is in easy rapport with you will often mirror your body position, which means if he was stood in front of you his shoulders would be parallel to your own. If he is uncomfortable with his own statements and is lying - he is may express this by turning his shoulders away a little. A shoulder shrug at the same time may again signify a lack of conviction in his own statements.

4. NOT USING I. A liar likes to distance himself from the lie and will normally be reluctant to refer to himself, whereas in normal conversation we usually refer to ourselves a lot. Watch out for less use of 'I', 'my', 'me' and so on.

5. BRIEF EXPLANATIONS. Although a person will probably become a little long winded when lying, he will conversely tend to be rather superficial in his descriptions of significant events. Embellishments are suddenly skipped over, and details ignored. If you ask a liar to expand upon his story, the chances are you will just get a repeat of what you've just heard, rather than filling in with more details.

6. SLOWING DOWN. Because a liar has to juggle different thoughts with one another and be careful of tripping himself up - his speech will slow accordingly. His language may become stiffer and more formal and there will more slips of the tongue and pauses in his speech that may be filled with 'er' and 'um' to give himself more time to think

7. I'M BEING HONEST. Liars are of course always worried that they won't be believed and can't resist reinforcing the idea that they are being truthful. Consequently they pepper their speech unnecessarily with phrases such as ' Honestly........' or 'You won't believe this but.....,' and so on.

It is important however when trying to work out whether someone is being honest that you do not go jumping to conclusions. Spotting lies is fascinating but even for the professional it can be an extraordinary tricky skill to master!
